DL DEALMAKERS:

Liam Sauro at Cushman & Wakefield has recently completed two zoned land transactions.  The first at 4500-4570 Ridgeway Drive was a Site Plan Approved commercial development in Erin Mills, closing in May of 2018 for $20,100,000 on behalf of the Vendor.  A prominent local developer acquired the 14.81 acre site, which is currently approved for approximately 220,000 square feet of industrial, office and retail uses.

The second transaction at 484 Spadina Avenue featured a fully zoned luxury rental development acquisition.  Structured as a ‘carve out’ from a larger portfolio sale, the site is zoned for 126,000 SF of residential use.  Acting on behalf of the Purchaser, Fitzrovia Capital, the transaction closed in March of 2018 for $23,600,000.

Joel Goulding represented Investors Group in the sale of 2 County Court Blvd in Brampton. The 90,000 square foot mixed-use office & retail site sold for $17,700,000.

DL of the Quarter

Elijah Antflick, Ripple Developments Ltd.

After spending ten successful years working in various roles with Rice Commercial Group, Elijah has embarked on the next stage of his career by launching Ripple Developments Ltd. This new entity will be opportunistically looking to invest in and develop low rise residential, urban infill mixed-use, and small bay industrial projects. Through joint venture and private syndication structures, Elijah hopes to make waves...not just Ripples.

Elijah obtained his MBA degree from Ivey and caught the real estate bug during his co-op terms while completing his BComm from Dalhousie University. He plays tennis and hockey throughout the year and gets asked more than once a week if he plays basketball.
